Streamline fibreglass was commissioned by a large trailer manufacture here in the UK to manufacture from 2D drawings the master pattern and mould in order to run production on a large scale bespoke GRP trailer POD. Streamline entered at the design stage working alongside our client to design a sleek looking trailer POD which will transport motorsport and luxury cars to the European market.
It was an honour and a privilege for Streamline to work within The Science and Industry Museum Manchester. One of the most famous industrial buildings in Europe and we were so proud to be part of that!
A previous prestigious client recommended Streamline due to our expertise in translucent technology. We then worked closely with an award-winning London based architect in the hope of developing a “first of its kind” Class 1 fire rated translucent product which would be sympathetic with this historic building and its original colour scheme. New technology meeting 250 years of innovation! We asked ourselves if it really was possible to make this already truly outstanding building smarter and decided to relish the challenge!
As part of the £5 million restoration project, Streamline was thrilled to be chosen to design, manufacture and install over 90 bespoke panel products across 725 square meters of flexible special exhibition gallery space.
This Grade II listed warehouse which was built in 1882 to provide storage for the Great Western Railway, has been transformed by Streamline’s bespoke translucent illuminated panel system both internally and externally.
As a Manchester based bespoke manufacturing company, we were absolutely thrilled to be given the opportunity to showcase our expertise and experience. Additionally, this project allowed us to exhibit what this beautiful city has to offer. And in our hometown!!
Streamline have designed, manufactured and delivered bespoke projects globally but this particular project has a special place in our hearts. We were inspired by the museum as children and now as adults which will carry through to the next generation. Essentially, this project has shaped our ideology which is now forever present.
Approximately 700,000 people visit this awe-inspiring building each and every year. Streamline aimed to inspire future generations in the hope that they achieve what they are born to do!
In the face of the world pandemic and certainly in the face of adversity Streamline battled through a tremendously difficult year to ensure the project was delivered on time and within budget.
We offered a full composite structural engineering package with the build together with intensive research. The consultation alone spanned 14months with over 60 samples produced until we found the right flavour! This truly magnificent building breathed life into our designs. We provided a full installation package which allowed the project to be delivered under one roof. A truly bespoke service and one of which we will be forever proud
Inspiration inspires us!
Streamline Fibreglass were approached to repair a state-of-the-art car transporter which had received major structural and cosmetic damage after a collision on the motorway. An industry breakthrough came when Streamline Fibreglass was awarded the contract to design, manufacture and install a bespoke fibreglass dome for the Ghanaian Government. Streamline Fibreglass was contacted by a large construction company in the hope that we could find a solution to the failure and subsequent contamination of an existing GRP spa pool inside a working health club and spa. We visited the site to conduct a report into why this failure had occurred and what was needed to rectify this problem. After submitting our report and suggestions for possible solutions to our client, we successfully won the contract to remove the damaged fibreglass and repair breaches to the fibreglass product itself
